At some point in this life we will have or had people to lie to us or go back on their promises they made to us. Our heavenly Father in heaven will never disappoint us the way people do us in this life. The psalmist said, “It is better to trust in the Lord than to place confidence in man” (Psalm 118:8). When God makes a promise He stands by it, you will never be disappointed when He tell you He’s going to do something for you.
