Whatever the word has promised or God has promise to you personally, it will require you to have faith that believes. The kind of faith that unlocks the promise I’m referring to is what the bible calls believing faith, in which we stand firmly on the promises of God. You will begin to grasp from this teaching that many believers do not have an attitude of interest or desire to receive instructions from the word, and this will no doubt cause them to stagger in unbelief at the promises. Our faith is activated only when we believe what God says in His word concerning us or our situation.
