You and I are to refuse to accept, go along with and refuse to give into Satan’s suggestions of returning back to where God has brought us from. Note that when we become familiar with something we tend to hold on to it even if it’s hurting us. The Holy Spirit is challenging many of God’s precious people to move forward and let go of the past. What’s more is God has brought many of us from a mighty long ways, and He plan to take us even further if we allow Him to. Having an understanding that God has delivered us from sin and shame, our main desire should be to press on to become more like Christ each and every day.
