When we became born again we walked in humility, we saw our need for total dependence on the Lord. As it was we were naked and empty handed so to speak, and then we were clothed with Christ. A child quickly learns their limitations and their weaknesses and therefore it causes them to rely on the strength of the parent. Likewise as Jesus stated we too should understand our limitations and weakness, so that we may lean on and trust Him.
