One of the things that still seem to be a pressing issue in the body of Christ is legalism. Nothing upsets religious and legalistic people more than to tell them that their religion and legalism does not work. Many Christians fail to live the kind of life God want them to live or enjoy the salvation that He has promise through Jesus. The reason behind all of this is many are unclear in their understanding of the difference between law and grace, so with no complete understanding and no sound teaching they try to mix the two together; thus leaving them walking around with no joy, no peace, critical and judgmental.
